While viewing student glogs for their games a message came up about a virus attack. I was asked to scan to avoid the virus with an anti virus program.

It was a scam. My computer was frozen. I could access no programs. Thank goodness, the tech department came to my rescue with a quick fix.

I have seen throughout this year when students are asked to work with any kind of technology they suddenly come to life!

Fortunately I have been exposed to many different programs and look forward to the upcoming summer where I can now explore and add more technology throughout my lessons.

Glogster.com is my new favorite website. Students are able to make posters on-line. Many of my students have added sound and even a video to their poster. This is just one part of a project in which they are designing a game.

Pollseverywhere is fantastic. The students loved the novelty of using cell phones in the classroom. Of course, rules were established as to when the phone could be in their hands!



Using the polling system took answering questions on an OAA review to a very interactive formative assessment.



Students asked if we could do more of this type of activity before the end of the year :)
